“Why Me?” by Dr. James R. Wining

“The Trial of Christ,” play is a depiction of the judgement of man upon God. Please, read its account in the Gospels of The Bible: MARK 15: 1-5, JOHN 18:28-40 AND 19:1-22, MATTHEW 27:1-26 AND LUKE 23:1-25. Then at your time with the Lord, pray for your guidance and direction into this Godly Work. Today we are truly opening the eyes of man to injustice, forgiveness and love. Uniquely, because it is from the perspective of Jesus Christ “The victim” and people not God are the judges. How would you respond to an unrighteous judgement from two court systems and a condemning mob of accusers? This is our responsibility to explain the outcome for those who have fallen away and those who have been misguided. Pray for your own understandings and participation whether it be technical, financial, pageantry, or sharing, Any and all support will be your call. “Trial of Christ,” the Calling and the Play, by Dr. James R. Wining

Those of us who follow the vision of Acts Ministry, “Unity, in Christ, through the Holy Spirit,” are aware of the last prayer of Jesus, John 17 and thereby, understand  “The Calling.”  The betrayal, the illegal trials and the eventual crucifixion detailed in John 18 illuminate His return. This is the affirming revelation of the fulfillment of Jesus’ last prayer to God. It is also a charge to those of us who follow the convictions of John 17. It is apparent why Acts Ministry chose to do “The Trial of Christ.” Acts Ministry’s vision is composed of believers who understand the “Gathering of Followers,” and the selection of Acts Ministry with its vision to do this play as a precursor to John 17. The time how Jesus will be with us and his glory upon us was set forth clearly in John 17, but proclaimed by Him during his trial in John 18. Moreover, this trial establishes the weaknesses of mankind, the love of Jesus and the forgiveness he has for our mistakes.  The time is now to…
