Why does Acts Ministry conduct annually ActsFest? This year the event runs from July 19-21, 2019 and marks our 26th year of service. It provides a time of updating, recognizing, cooperating and contributing to works that will make a better world. Christianity is not dead in the 21st Century it is just being reinvented.
The thousands of churches across the world provide a steady safe harbor for Christians to be educated, corrected and morally/ethically socialized. The vision of Acts Ministry is “Unity in Christ through The Holy Spirit,” by bringing together these churches with other independent ministries into a force in mission “Doing the Right Thing,” where needed. Acts Ministry will through social causes/needs/evangelism demonstrate the love of Jesus and the fulfillment of his last prayer in John 17:20-23.
ActsFest 2019 will provide workshops on Friday from 8 am- 3 pm on the third floor of The Plaza Towers. Friday night at 6:30 pm at The Maranatha Chapel a “Holy Spirit Celebration Service.” Saturday morning 9:00 am we will be meeting together at our Plaza Towers offices and then journeying to The Japanese Botanical Gardens. The Awards Banquet at The Executive Conference Center starts at 6 pm and ends at 9 pm. Our ordination, licensing and recognitions Ceremony will be Sunday at The Maranatha Chapel at 2 pm.
What does it matter to you? Its very simple ninety percent (90%) of any work, cause or movement involves people showing up and taking an active role. This event is the life blood of the 21st Century Ministry and without it we stand divided, fractured and confused both internally and externally.
