Open Letter to the NFL PLAYERS,” shared by Dr. Jane Campbell

You graduated high school in 2011.  Your teenage years were a struggle.  You grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.  Your parents worked tirelessly to keep a roof over your head and food on your plate.  Academics were a struggle for you and your grades were mediocre at best. The only thing that made you stand out is you weighed 225 lbs and could run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds while carrying a football.  Your best friend was just like you, except he didn’t play football.  Instead of going to football practice after school, he went to work at McDonalds for minimum wage.  You were recruited by all the big colleges and spent every weekend of your senior year making visits to universities where coaches and boosters tried to convince you their school was best.  They laid out the red carpet for you. Your best friend worked double shifts at Mickey D’s.  College was not an option for him.  On the day you signed with Big State University , your best friend signed paperwork with his…

“68 AND PREGNANT,” shared by Dr. Jane Campbell

A Quick Fix             A woman went to the emergency room, where she was seen by a young new doctor. After about 3 minutes in the examination room, the doctor told her she was pregnant.  She burst out of the room and ran down the corridor screaming.           An older doctor stopped her and asked what the problem was. After listening to her story, he calmed her down and sat her in another room. Then, the doctor marched down the hallway to the first doctor’s room.           “What the hell’s wrong with you?” he demanded. “This woman is 68 years old, she has two grown children and several grandchildren, and you told her she was pregnant?!!”           The new doctor continued to write on his clipboard and without looking up said, …”Does she still have the hiccups

Simply To Believe By Rev. Dennis Coad

I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Hebrews 8:12) Do you know what our only part to play in the new covenant of grace is? It is simply to believe that because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, we are forgiven of every sin and that God has erased them completely from His memory. Believe this, and you’ll have the boldness to come to His throne of grace, fully expecting His protection and provision, no matter the situation you are in. Believe this and you’ll have immense capacity to receive all of His goodness, blessings and unmerited favor in your life. So believe and only believe!

A Tear Of Love By Rev. Bruce Pearson

A tear of love ran down my cheek,                         It filled my soul a joy I could not speak.                              My God is real, my God is real.                           He knows my heart, for he’s there too.                             All things God promises are true.                             He is my Saviour, he is yours too.                           He grows and lives within our hearts.                           I know he is there and that’s a start.              …
